El Tur City

 


Although it is the capital of the Governorate of South Sinai, El Tur is quite small. It features a central market and a few shopping streets around it. 

Locations in El Tur: The old town (Al-Kilani quarter), El-Kilani Mosque, Hammam Musa (Baths of Moses), Raithou Monastery archaeological site, Archaeological excavations, and the seafront and fishing harbour.

  Livelier and more developed than Nuweiba, Dahab is the second resort city of South Sinai, but it is more human-scale than Sharm el Sheikh.
