Nuweiba
Nuweiba is a major port city, connecting Egypt to Jordan at their port of Aqaba. It consists of small hubs quite far apart, and a stretch of beach camps along the road north of the town towards Taba.

The Bedouin Bus
Sayid Abu Matar runs a St Catherine-Nuweiba passanger service twice a week. His main stop is a café in the port area, but also stops at other locations. On request, can pick up from hotel/camp. (May 2019)
Approaching Nuweiba - Muzeina Village
Smaller and less developed than the tarabin village, there are a few camps and shops in this area near the port. (2009, 2016, 2019)
Wadi Saada
Coming from a walk or safari, you may approach Nuweiba via Wadi Saada. (July 2011)
The Port (Mina)
A few residential blocks, shops, offices can be found in this busy commercial area. Nearby, along the coast, there are some upmarket hotels and resorts. Looking at Nuweiba from the sea, the big gap in the mountin range is Wadi Watir. (September 2016)
Wasat
The big flood plain of Wasat, between the port and the Center, stands largely empty. There are some agricultural plots here and a few houses. (November 2009)
Nuweiba Center - Beach
Near the center of Nuweiba, there is a stretch of beach with nice views of the Tarabin area and beyond. (April 2014)

On the northern end of Nuweiba is the Tarabin village, pleasantly undeveloped but quite well served with restaurants, hotels and camps. (2009, 2014)
